Recycling & Garbage Information

Issues with trash or recycling, such as missed collection or a cart repair/replacement need, should be reported directly to Waste Management at 888.960.0008. You may be prompted to enter your zip code and your address before reaching a customer service representative. If Customer Service questions your service, be sure to explain that you live in the TOWN OF TRENTON, even though your mailing address indicates West Bend. If you encounter long wait times, please call 262.675.6009 x102 or email to report your concern.

Cart repair/replacement services should be completed on the next regular collection day.

The Town Hall Yard is open twice a month, excluding holidays:
   --Second Saturday of every month from 8:00 AM-noon (ALL YEAR LONG)
   --Fourth Thursday of every month from 4:00 - 8:00 PM (FROM MARCH - OCTOBER)
Located at 1071 State Highway 33E, the following items are accepted: brush (including Christmas trees), waste oil, batteries and metal goods.

Alternative Disposal Options are available for items that cannot be placed curbside

Cart Information and Cart Notice

Collection in the Town of Trenton is as follows:

Thursday Collection: Hwy 33, North of Hwy 33, River Court, Trenton on the River, Scenic Drive

Friday Collection: South of Hwy 33

Certain Federal Holidays usually affect trash and recycling pick up. At those times, the pick-up schedule will shift by one day. If the holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, the Thursday collection will occur on Friday and the Friday collection will occur on Saturday. If the holiday falls on a Friday, the Thursday collection will not be affected, and the Friday collection will occur on Saturday. Please review the calendar above for specific dates. However, when in doubt, PUT IT OUT.

Washington County Clean Sweep Program

Washington County has eliminated the collection for TVs, electronics, tires and appliances. Hazardous Waste Collection now takes place twice a week (Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm) at
