License fees: $12 per dog or $7 for each neutered or spayed dog.
Each resident is allowed THREE (3) dogs. Residents with more than three dogs must apply for a MULTIPLE DOG License (see below).
To obtain a license for your dog: Send completed Dog License Application Application, proof of current rabies vaccination, a self-addressed stamped envelope, and a check payable to the Town of Trenton to:

Wisconsin State Statutes mandate that the owner of a dog more than five months of age on January 1, or five months of age within this year, shall obtain a license prior to April 1 or on or before the date the dog becomes five months of age. A late fee of $5 per dog licensed after March 31st will be applied. This fee is in addition to the regular license amount listed above.
NO LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT A CERTIFICATE OF RABIES VACCINATION.
All dogs 5 months and older must have a rabies vaccination by a veterinarian.
This is a state imposed law. See State Statute.
If a previously licensed dog is no longer with you, please call the Town Treasurer at (262) 675-6009 x103 so that we can update our records.
